I am running the London Marathon on April 13th to raise the profile and funds for the Long Shields project. The project's central aim is to mitigate the conflict between man and lion that has contributed to the decline in lions in Africa. Donate today and help save Africa's Pride.

Meet the Long Shields

These are the men and women I am running the marathon for. They are brave, dedicated people looking after their communities and the thought of them out there working to conserve lions will spur me on when I have no energy left.

There are two main areas in which we operate but the image below is a recent team-building event where we all got together.

Back row - left to right: PWMA ranger Munya, Hilder Hove (Long shield), Concillia Tshums (Long shield), Emmanuel Tembo (Long shield), Anold Mavura (Long shield), David Nchindo (Long shield), Lewis Ncube (Long Shield), Charles Tshuma (Long shield), Jeffery Ndhlovu (Long shield)
Front row left to right: Lovemore Sibanda (Long shield co-ordinator), Albert Mpofu (Long shield)
